The desires and requirements of each client are unique. Knowing this, I am happy to offer design services that can be customized to fit your needs. The following information is meant to be utilized as a general guideline for the most popular services that are requested. Please get in touch with me to discuss your specific needs!

Initial Consultation

This meeting includes up to two hours of discussion regarding your desired function and aesthetics of the space. We will consider the project budget and explore the existing features to identify what works and what doesn’t. Ideally, everyone that will be regularly using the space will be present to express their individual desires. The consultation also includes site measurements used to create the initial 3D floor plan with doorways, windows, permanent fixtures, etc.

Design Consultation
|
This service can be provided in place of the Initial Consultation; it is especially recommended for DIY-ers that need guidance to get started on a project. In addition to the items covered in the initial consultation, design solutions will be thoroughly discussed. Advice will be given on issues like furniture and art placement, material selections, color palettes and ways to improve the functionality of the room.

After the Initial or Design Consultation, other services will be added as needed. Here are some examples:
Furniture/Cabinet Plan

Final cost can vary depending on the number and type of rooms. Based on the initial site measurements and interview, a full color computer generated floor plan will be produced with proposed furniture/cabinet layout, color schemes and accessories. I will provide a 3D “tour” and jpeg images of each area of the space. Clients can use these images as a guide to select their own finishes and furnishings, or items can be specified for them based on their pre-determined budget (see Material/Product Specification below).

Product Specification
|
After a plan is agreed upon, some clients prefer to shop on their own but many prefer to have the shopping done for them. The service of selecting products such as furniture, fixtures, etc. can be customized based upon the needs and budget of each client. Usually items can be acquired at a price below retail, saving you valuable time and money. I am also open to shopping for non-traditional and unique items that can’t always be found at standard retailers.

Remodel Projects
|
This fee is typically related to jobs requiring physical changes to your home. Some examples might be a new kitchen or bathroom that call for demolition, plumbing, and electrical work, or projects that include custom built-in furnishings...basically projects that require additional contractor involvement. Clients are welcome to select their own contractors or one can be provided. Either way, I will manage your project until it is complete, ensuring everything is finished as specified and any issues that emerge are resolved.
